Day 1:
SaiGon - CaiBe - CanTho (L)
Departing
Saigon at 0800 head south to Cai Be. On arrival boarding a boat for a journey
through the town’s floating market. Cruise through the secluded canals to an
island where we stop to enjoy seasonal fruits & lunch break before our boat
takes us to VinhLong where we get back on the bus for our trip to CanTho to
overnight.
Day
2:
CanTho - ChauDoc. (B)
An
early start for a boat cruise to Cai Rang and PhongDien floating markets. Bus
continue to ChauDoc with a stop over stork garden near ThotNot. Late pm hike up
to Sam mountain with
its panoramic view over the vast plains into Cambodia. O/N in ChauDoc.
Day
3: ChauDoc
- Phnompenh (B)
After
breakfast, we transfer to boat pier for deparutre to Phnompenh by speed boat
(leave 8.00 am arrive Phnompenh ~ 13.00). End of tour. (Visa on arrival at
Cambodia border: 20 USD, 1 photo 3x4cm).

THE MIEN TAY BOAT
CRUISE: CAIBE - CANTHO - CHAUDOC (3 DAYS)
Charter a luxury barge with cabin on board is very
expensive. However, we co-operate with a "share boat cruise" from CaiBe to
CanTho with one night on board (from 2 to 16 persons sleeping on board). We get
off the boat on day 2 in Cantho and continue to ChauDoc by minivan.
Please
kindly note that the tour tariff below is price for group taking full 3 day tour
and this tariff will not be affected by the number of people on the "share boat
cruise".
Day 1:
Saigon - Caibe - Cantho (L,D).
08.00 Departure for CaiBe.
10.30 boarding
MIENTAY boat. Explore the lively Cai Be floating market. Walking & visit the
handicraft village of the local people. Sightseeing the old house and sample
various tropical fruits.
11:00 Up for
cruise to continue to Cantho via Cho Lach and TraOn.
12:00
Disembark Cho Lach village. Make a pleasant walking or cycling on the
footpaths of the countryside to discover tropical fruit orchards and the local
people's activities, especially some orange/longan orchards with its farmer.
Cruise to
continue to Traon. Enjoy the magnificent sunset on the river. Leisurely cruise
up the Mekong River while enyoying the beautiful scenery and the aperitifs,
sunset cruise .
A wonderful
day with picturesque crossing over Mekong River branches. Dinner and
overnight on board in TraOn.
Day 2:
TraOn - CanTho - LongXuyen - ChauDoc (B,L)
The noise of
the floating market wake you up early in the morning After breakfast, we
cruise to Can Tho. Enjoy the magnificent sunrise on Bassac river.
A small boat
will take you to CaiRang floating market. One of the most bustling floating
markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats bargaining and jostling
for space as owners attempt to sell their goods. And through the palm-shaded
creek to see local houses and green orchards.

Disembark in CanTho city quay. Bus pick up & continue to ChauDoc with a stop
over stork garden near ThotNot. Late afternoon hike up to Sam mountain with its panoramic view over the vast plains
into Cambodia. O/N in ChauDoc.
Day 3:
ChauDoc - Phnompenh (B) (or
ChauDoc - Saigon).
After breakfast, we transfer to boat pier for departure to
Phnompenh by speed boat (leave 8.00 am arrive Phnompenh ~ 13.00). End of
tour. (Visa fee on arrival at Cambodia border: 20 USD, 1 photo 3x4cm).
Option: If you do not visit Cambodia,
you have sightseeing tour in ChauDoc and come back to Saigon via SaDec. Back to
Saigon around 15.00. End of tour.

Day1:
Saigon - CaiBe - SaDec - LongXuyen (L,D)
8.00 am Departure by bus
for CaiBe (2hrs), we start biking off road ~10km with ferry crossing, and then
boarding on boat for cruising on Mekong river. See CaiBe floating market, then
off the boat for short cycling to an old house.
Sightseeing this old house, lunch break and taste various tropical fruits.
Afternoon relax on hammock when cruising to island,
start kayaking 2hours in small arroyo, discover tropical fruit orchards and
the local people's activities. Back to our boat. Then cruise to
MyThuan. Shower, dinner en route. Evening cruise up Mekong river
to SaDec and onto LongXuyen. O/N on board.

Floating market noise wake
you up, contemplate sunrise while having breakfast on board. See Longxuyen
floating market from our boats. Then we start cycling ~ 1hour on island, see
daily life of the local people who live on both sides of the Mekong (Bassac).
Boat pick up for continue cruising to ChauDoc, we see many floating fish-farm
villages producing tons and tons of fish beneath hundreds of floating houses.
Arrive in ChauDoc, check in
hotel.
Afternoon cycling around Chaudoc town or hike up to
Sam mountain with its panoramic view over the vast plains into Cambodia. O/N
in ChauDoc.

will help to arrange tickets for Speed boat ChauDoc – PhnomPenh the next day,
show you the place of speed boat departure and saying good-bye.

speed boat ~ 4.5 hours to Phnom Penh. Visa on arrival at Cambodia border (20 usd
each, 1 photo 3x4cm) local Cambodian guide meet at Phnompenh boat pier and
transfer to hotel. Lunch at local restaurant.
PM
begin city tour with a visit to Wat Phnom the historical capital of Phnom Penh.
Proceed to the Independent Monument, Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the
National Museum of Fine Arts.
Dinner
and O/N in Phnom Penh.

Phnom Penh - Siem Reap by Boat (B,L,D)
In the early morning take a speed boat to Siem
Reap, Lunch, Visit Southern Gate of Angkor Thom and the famous temple of Bayon.
Phimean Akas Temples, The Elephants Terrace and Leper King. Sunset over Angkor
Wat from the summit of Phnom Bakheng. Dinner at local restaurant with
traditional dance performance.

5:
Banteay Srei (B,L,D)
Breakfast at the hotel a trip to see the most
beautiful temple of Banteay Srei, the best carving temple still remain it charm,
then back to visit Ta Promh the famous jungle temple, Lunch at local restaurant,
In the afternoon visit highlights of the grand temple circuit such as Preah
Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

6:
Angkor Wat (B,L,D)
Breakfast at the hotel then a visit to the World
heritage Angkor Wat. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Thommanun & Chaosay
Tevoda, Banteay Kdei, Sras Srang. Evening dinner at local restaurant.
