For customised tours, Sinhbalo Adventures (Map p356, Tel: 8376766, 8367682; www.sinhbalo.com; 283/20 D PhamNguLao) is one of the best in Vietnam. Sinhbalo specialises in cycling trips, but also arranges innovative special interest journeys to the Mekong Delta, central highlands and further afield. Its programmes range from remote hill-tribe trekking and bird-watching in national parks to motorbiking the HoChiMinh Trail. We’ve been using them for more than 10 years and have yet to hit a snag.

For private customised tours of the Mekong delta on two or four wheels, HCMC’s Sinhbalo Adventures (www.sinhbalo.com) cannot be beaten.

 Dear Sinh

Just wanted to say a very big thank you for organising one of the best trips
that Pete and I have ever been on.

Lam and Liem were absolutely fantastic. They both went out of their way to make sure that our trip was trouble free and extremely memorable. We definately got off the beaten track and there were days where we saw no other tourists. It was perfect. We were able to ride at our own pace and cover the distances we were comfortable with. It was exactly what we hoped it would be.

We will be recommending to everyone we know to use your company when they visit Vietnam. We also hope to one day return ourselves and we will definately be calling on you. We want to book Lam and Lim again!

Again, many thanks
Kind regards

Georgina and Peter

Dear Mr Sinh,  we had the pleasure of using your travelagency during our visit to Vietnam and we were most impressed. Your staff in the office were very helpful and your Mr Nam and Mr Thang were an inspiration to us.

Here we will have to single out Mr Nam, who we spent more time with. His knowledge and the way he looked after us was fantastic.

We will most certainly use your organisation again and of course recommend you to our friends.

Best regards

Ulf Malmros and Christina Kockum.

Subject: Thankyou for great tours

Dear Ms Minh,

We have arrived back in Australia and would like to thank Sinhbalo for providing such wonderful service on the 2 tours we booked and also for organizing our internal air flights.
We very much enjoyed  our 1 day cycling tour of the Mekong region and have many words of praise for our guide Hoc who was caring, informative, well organized and had a good sense of humor!  This tour was the highlight of our visit to Vietnam because we were able to see everyday life away from the effects of tourism. Once again many thanks and we will recommend Sinhbalo to anyone we know who is traveling to Vietnam.

Kind regards

Kim Atkinson

Subject: Our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia

Dear Sirs,

Having returned to South Africa and having our pictures developed and printed we would like to thank you very much for the way in which you have organised and guided our holiday.

Your organization was perfect and your guides and drivers did an excellent job.

Your guide Ly Quang Hoan was like a friend to us and your driver Nguyen Van Hiep never let us down.

The service from your Cambodian colleagues was excellent as well.

We have very good memories on our trip and will not hesitate to recommend you to whoever plans a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia.

Kind Regards,

 Arina and Aarnout Brombacher

Dear Nghi,

Greetings from your friends in the U.S. We want you to know that we were very happy with our tour and have brought home very good memories of Vietnam, the beautiful country, and especially the warm and generous people.  We thank you for always "going the extra mile" in taking such good care of us, and for showing us Vietnam through the eyes of a person who really loves the people in his homeland. The memories will be with us for a long time.

We look forward to meeting you in the future, whether in the U.S. (remember we have a small apartment and you are welcome to stay) or on our next trip to Vietnam.  You can be sure we will be recommending your tour agency to friends who might want to visit your country.

God bless,
Scott and Karen Hoenig.

To SinhBalo

Thanks to all in your company for organizing a very creative, informative and eye opening adventure.  As a Veteran it was an enlighteningly experience and one I will always remember.

Our only regret is we did not have more time to spend in your country to experience all there is to offer.  The tours and the flexibility you showed made each stop an adventure with new things to experience.

A special thanks to Hoa our guide and to the Dung our driver and to you for planning our trip in Vietnam as we had wanted. All involved with your company were very professional and I would  recommend anyone wanting to experience Vietnam to contact you.

Thanks again to all for the attention to detail and for everyone's thoughtfulness.

Thanks,
Bob & Jeannine Green

Hello,

My husband, mother and I took a 3 day Mekong Delta bicycle tour in January.  We were very pleased with the tour.  The route, bikes and acommodations were terrific.  We would definitely use Sinhbalo Adventures for future tours.

We were especially pleased with our tour leader, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thang.  Mr. Thang was a wonderful guide. He taught us many things about Vietnam and the Mekong.  He was patient and accomodating, especially with my 66 year old mother.  He went out of his way to make us comfortable and to help us enjoy the trip.  He was the best tour guide I have experienced on any tour, anywhere in the world.
Our Sales person, a young woman, was also very helpful and honest about the tours and how they compare to other agencies.

We will recommended that our friends use Sinhbalo Adventures and Mr. Thang for tours of Vietnam.  Thank
you for a memorable trip.

Amy and Wayne Minton.

An extra big thank you from Sandra and Sarah for all those "little things" you did to make our Viet Nam Adventure enjoyable, memorable and problem free.

We appreciate you going that extra step so we could do or see something really special that other visitors miss. Thank again.

Dear Ms. Minh Tram:

Greetings.  I want to thank you for making possible a most interesting and
rewarding visit to Vietnam. The boys all found it fascinating, and fun,
too. Nam was an excellent guide, and Son was the perfect driver. I hope I
will be able to take more groups of students to Vietnam in the future; if
so, I'll certainly contact you.

With kind regards,
Steve Coleman

Dear Ms. Tram,

This is Hiliary Douglas from CET.  I wanted to take a few minutes to thank you personally for working closely with Binh to set up such a great tour to the Mekong Delta for my St Olaf Jan-term students.  All of the students really enjoyed the trip a lot, and in my opinion it was one of the best Mekong tours I've ever been on.  Your company really understands how to set up a "study tour" for college students, and I look forward to working with you again in the future.

Also, thanks so much for sending such an experienced guide along on the trip - Gia is one of the best guides I've ever worked with.  He was very flexible with planning and scheduling, and has an incredible collaborative spirit that made working with him a true joy.  Usually when I travel with student groups as a "truong doan", the trips are very stressful for me -- this time I couldn't believe how smoothly everything went and how little stress I experienced.  This is due in no small part to Gia's good preparation, groundwork, flexibility in each moment, and overall helpfulness and positive attitude.  Gia was also always willing to go beyond the duties of a tour guide - helping me set up meals that weren't part of Sinhbalo's package, acting as a facilitator during the village visit in Ben Tre (which had been set up and managed by VLSF), etc...  I also look forward to working with Gia again in the future.

Thanks so much again!

Happy New Year!

Warmly,

Hiliary

Hi there Sinh,

Thanks for the photo's.

We have our final meeting with the group this coming thursday night, when parents come in to see the photo's and Video's. I have some of the photo's already, but many of the students still have to bring them in, I also have to edit the video, as I have 450 mins worth!  Koen wants all of it, but most want about a half hour version.

Thank you again for making it such a good experience.  We are strongly recommending the school to run it again if you are happy to do it. And my wife is eager to come out too.  She is not much of a cyclist, but could always get off and walk over the bridges!

Anyway, I have to get on with some work now, but will put together a video and photo's as soon as I have some time, and post them to you.

Take care, and regards to Trieu and the rest of the team.

John.

Dear Miss Loan

Thank you very much for all your hardwork on the part of my group.  They had a fantastic time!  Mr Hoa and Mr Hien were wonderful.  We were very well looked after and always safe.
I have been very impressed with Sinhbalo and I will be in touch later as I am organising another study tour of students to Vietnam at the end of November.
Please pass my thanks on to your manager.
