WHALE'S
ISLAND RESORT
Two
hours by car and boat, at the north of NhaTrang, the Island of the Whale. The
site’s natural beauty is enough to make it attractive. Doing nothing is

mountainous and forested Phu quoc island is in the Gulf of Thailand, 45km west
of HaTien and 15km south of the coast of Cambodia. This tear-shaped island is
ringed with some of the most incredibly beautiful beaches in Vietnam. There are
fantastic views of underwater marine life through the transparent blue green
waters.
The best time for discovering PhuQuoc island is from
Novermber to August.

Day 1:

Departing Saigon at 0800 head south to Cai Be. On
arrival at 10.30 , boarding a boat for a journey through the town’s floating
market. See how river life goes on, trading between merchant ships and
local farmers. We walk through the village streets and watch locals
making pop sticky rice cake and rice paper or manioc chips. Cruise through
a secluded canals and over the Mighty mekong to island where we stop to
enjoy seasonal fruits before our boat takes us to VinhLong where we get
back on the bus for our trip to CanTho to overnight.
Day 2:
CanTho - RachGia.

Early
morning boat cruise to CaiRang floating markets, cruise 2 hours through quiet
waterways & orchards to PhongDien floating market. Bus pick up and continue
to RachGia with a stop over Bird garden near ThotNot. Lunch en

garden near ThotNot and a village making incense stick. Late afternoon we
hike up 3km to the sacred Sam mountain with its panoramic view over the vast
plains into Cambodia. O/N in ChauDoc.
Day 3:
ChauDoc - RachGia. (B,L)
Up
early for a boat through the amazing riverside market with all its bustling
activity and smorgasbord of sounds, colors and smells. Then we cruise through
the fish-farm village producing tons and tons of fish beneath hundreds of
floating homes. Discover the ethnic Cham village with its famous Mubarak Mosque
and observe local women at their traditional weaving.
Bus
excursion to TriTon (Khmer community) and onto HonChong. Lunch break.
Sightseeing at ChuaHang and Father & Son islet. Continue to RachGia for the
night. O/N in RachGia.
Day
4: RachGia - PhuQuoc island.
(B).
Transfer
to boat pier for speed boat at 8:30 to Phuquoc island. Arrive in AnThoi
10.45. Tour end.
